The lights are on
Screen Gems just released a new trailer for Resident Evil: Retribution, the fifth (fifth…wow) in the movie series based on the iconic survival horror franchise, and it's a little weird.
It starts out looking more like a romantic comedy that you might see Reese Witherspoon starring in -- until the point when a zombie creature tries to eat someone's face off. While it was a bit hard to tell what the hell was going on with the plot, it appears at least part of it is going for some kind of "it was all a dream/implanted memory/etc" sci-fi trope. Of course, by time the trailer is over, things have returned to normal, with a host of big-budget special effects and stylish violence. Watch for yourself below.

Ok so I kind of thought that was the way they were going with these movies but it looks great. And I would see umbrella doing things like that. But people need to stop being trolls and just not even look at the page so shut up. It’s been around for these many years because it makes money and that’s what’s it made to do so just leave it at that.
