Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Bonus Edition Revealed

The details behind the bonus edition of Sega's newest racer have been announced. Available for pre-order today, the bonus edition includes a new track, inspired by Sega's classic title, OutRun. It features all of the regular challenges and modes that the other courses have as well as some unique ones.

The edition also includes a new character, none other than Sonic's classic rival, Metal Sonic, who comes complete with his own specially designed vehicle that levitates. Finally, the bonus edition also includes collectable stickers and in game emoticons, rewarded for achievements and high scores.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and the pre-order bonus edition will hit shelves November 20.

If the bonus edition costs the same as the regular, then sure, great, sign me up. But I wouldn't pay anything extra for one character and one track, even with the other extra stuff thrown in.

Now if that track had been, say, Valua (the capital city in Skies of Arcadia) THEN we'd be talkin. I'll pay for just about any new content from that series. You hear that Sega?? Skies of Arcadia 2, plz!!

Yes! That's an AWESOME pre-order bonus! I would definitely pre-order this game for the pre-order bonus and so I can get the game. Also, is this just for the XBOX 360 version? If it is, then I can't get it because I don't have an XBOX 360. I want to know about the 3DS and Wii U version.

Neat. Personally, is it just me, or is Sonic getting lazier and lazier?! The fastest thing alive, and he can't even bother himself to actually run. Riding horses in the olympics, driving cars, riding hover boards. . . Take it from our first lady, let's move the body Sonic!
