The lights are on
Part of the upcoming free-to-play mech shooter Hawken's presence at E3 included a teaser for the live-action web series based on the game. Now we have a full trailer for the series.
The trailer mentions something about the Hawken virus and gives a little bit of insight into some of the characters we can expect to see. The series is set to start airing (streaming?) next year, and you can start playing Hawken this December. To get involved with the beta, head over to PlayHawken.com.
For more on Hawken, check out our interview with the game's creative director Khang Le from Comic Con 2012.

I have never heard of Hawken. The game looks great, but this web series looks laughably bad.
I'm interested in the game but not the show.
Haha this series might be cool. The game looks killer. Too bad it would melt my computer.
I love the beta!!!!!

This game still hasn't come out yet? I remember hearing about it during the 2011 E3
This is a mech-head's catnip. Videos like this make me want to play games; take notes other designers - we want to be invested into the worlds you create and this is an easy "in."
