The lights are on
Card Hunter captured our minds and free time last year, and though we may have strayed, Blue Manchu has a plan to lure us back. The studio has announced a new expansion, Attack of the Artifacts.
Card Hunter blends the classic tabletop RPGs of the 1980s, deck management similar to Magic: The Gathering and its ilk, and turn-based strategy. For more on the free-to-play game, check out our review.
We’ll have more on Attack of the Artifacts once there are more details. For now, check out the announcement comic below.

Card Hunter is also coming to tablets some time in the future. Blue Manchu doesn't have a release date yet, but we've been told the company won't be "dragging its heels" on the port.
Our TakeCard Hunter struck gold with a blend of nostalgia and brilliant game mechanics. It’s also one of the few titles I feel lives on the ethical end of the free-to-play spectrum. If you have the slightest bit of interest in turn-based strategy or card games, it’s worth checking out. It won’t cost you dime.
