The lights are on
Episode 6 kicks off with Matt Helgeson, Joe Juba, and Matt Miller discussing one of the year’s biggest and best RPGs, BioWare’s Dragon Age. The editors compare the game to the classic Mass Effect and ponder its place in BioWare’s RPG history. The second segment features Phil Kollar, Meagan VanBurkleo, and Annette Gonzalez breaking down the newly announced Nintendo DSi XL. Finally, Matt Miller and Meagan return for a no-holds-barred discussion about the new Prince of Persia movie trailer, the future of video game movies, and Jake Gyllenhaal’s abs.

I agree that Nintendo seems to have a habit of selling us the same stuff even if it is good stuff to begin with. I think it is mainly because everyone wants a handheld of some kind and in my opinion the DS has some of the best multiplayer games ever. This has newer gamers just buying newer versions of the DS.
I am rather disappointed that the DSi no longer has a GBA slot. I am most likely going to stick with my current DS lite unless something changes.
Nintendo should consider repackaging the Wii and the original accessories instead of selling extra peripherals that just get lost. It seems to have worked well for the DS, the Xbox 360, the PS2 and now even the PS3.
Hopefully something will change...or stay the same. I suppose it depends on whose side you are on.
Is Mass Effect really a classic already?
In the article about Hollywood and video games, I saw mass effect on the list of games being made into movies, I want to see how that turns out.
I believe some video games can be turned into movies, such as Prince of Persia, however a game like Mass Effect should not be turned into a movie. Games like Mass Effect make you feel that you are Commander Shepard, how can hollywood translate that feeling into a movie...They can't!!!
You know i just don't care about New Super Mario brothers. I haven't turned on My Wii in more than a Wii and frankly i see no reason for that to change.
lookin forward to this movie
Well GI, Jake Gyllenhaal's abs have just saved you from the scorn caused by a missing mailbag segment... for now.
great show
@LittleBigEthan:
Is there anything Jake Gyllenhall's abs CAN'T do?
i 4got but where do u view this vid?
Snipa Out
I was kind of hoping to hear some comments on the online part of Dragon Age. From the review, it sounded pretty original, but I didn't really have a perfect picture of how the online really worked. I was left wanting to experience it, yet not quite understanding it as well as I would have liked..
about the list of games to turn in to movies ,i wiil be the fisrt one going to the theather when realese god of war,ho God i cant wait....
haven't played this game ... but i don't have enough time to invest
Great show! My feelings on Dragon Age were the same.
