Mini Ninjas Adventures

They're Back, With Kinect

Square Enix has announced that it's bringing a new Mini Ninjas game to the Xbox 360 later this month. Mini Ninjas Adventures is a slight departure from its predecessor, in that it's a Kinect exclusive.

Check out the screens in the gallery below to see the diminutive heroes kicking evil samurai and...barrels. Players can battle the bad guys with gesture-based controls and upgrade their heroes.

The game will be available to download on June 29 for 800 Microsoft Points.

  • I don't really like this idea. I kind of liked the other Mini Ninja game, but I don't want the series to die because of motion controls.
  • Just what we wanted: Shovelware!

  • I hate kinect.

  • Enjoyed the first one enough, but I didn't see the need for a sequel, let alone one with motion controls. I don't think the original sold that well, so they're wise for going the downloadable route this time. I'll be skipping on this since I lack a Kinect, but here's hoping it'll be a decent game.

  • Awesome. I loved the first Mini Ninjas so much, and now it's finally getting a sequel, and it's Kinect only. Great. :/

  • Aw man, this sucks. Why did MS have to sign exclusivity rights to make it a kinect game? The first one was a solid charming little action game

  • pass

  • Love the series, but kinect might just ruin it

  • Mini Ninjas was super fun and cute, the only problem is that it was too short, so i'm happy with a sequel, except i think it would be better if it was playable with the controler and only some kinect support.
